It
is my pleasure to invite you to display your precision engineering
products and services at the Twenty-Fifth Annual Meeting of
the American Society for Precision Engineering on October
31 to November 5, 2010. This year's meeting will be held at
the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia. These conferences
traditionally emphasize industrial practices and technological
innovations in the field of precision engineering and will
include participants from industries including automotive,
defense, medical, optics, and MEMS to name but a few.
Attendance
will include approximately 380-400 precision engineering professionals
from North and Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Pacific
Rim. Many of these participants make or recommend purchasing
decisions for the industries, national laboratories, and universities
that they represent. A commercial exhibit at this year's meeting
will allow you direct access to an audience targeted specifically
to your products.
We
believe that the commercial exhibitors provide a critical
component to the success of the conference. With this in mind,
the conference organizers have made planning of the commercial
exhibit space a high priority. Some of the many benefits you
will enjoy as an exhibitor at this year's conference include
the following:
- The
commercial exhibits will enjoy ample space next to the
Poster Sessions to provide maximum traffic by conference
participants.
-
Included in the exhibition fee is sponsorship of all of
the refreshment breaks during the meeting. These breaks
will be held in the commercial exhibit area, and a list
of all sponsors will be prominently posted.
- Due
to its great popularity in past years, we will again offer
a Commercial Session, where each exhibitor is invited
to give a short presentation describing a new product
or technology. This session will be held following lunch
on Tuesday, November 2, the first day of the technical
sessions. Speaker registration forms and guidelines will
be forwarded upon receipt of a booth registration form
and deposit.
- Other
benefits to commercial exhibitors include one free conference
registration (which includes Society membership for the
year 2011), and a subscription to the Precision Engineering
Journal for one year. The actual value of the registration
fee and the journal subscription is nearly $1,500. Also,
the official company representative will have access to
three days of technical sessions, where authors share
findings on current research and discuss a wide variety
of topics directly related to precision engineering.
- Upon
request, each exhibitor will receive an up-to-date list
of all ASPE members by email upon receipt of the full
booth rental fee, and also the complete Conference Participants
list via email after the conference, to facilitate follow-up
contacts.
- The
cost of a booth this year remains at US $1,500 for ASPE
Corporate Sponsors and US $2,000 for all others. Universities
and other not-for-profit organizations may contact ASPE
for reduced booth rental fees. Booths may be reserved
on a first-come first-served basis with priority given
to ASPE corporate sponsors and previous exhibitors.
I
am confident that your organization will benefit from participation
in this event. If you are interested in exhibiting
at this Meeting, please contact ASPE at 919-839-8444 or drop
an e-mail to Erika Layne.
I look forward to seeing you in Atlanta.
Sincerely,
Bradley H. Jared
