ASML is seeking an accomplished Optical Fabrication Supervisor to join the Optical Fabrication Department in Wilton, CT.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately manufactures and supplies all products in accordance with the established specification statements
  • Establishes a detailed production schedule within the constraints of the manufacturing plan and available resources
  • Ensures progress and output at minimal cost
  • Solves problems, provides recovery plans, and informs relevant parties on deviations
  • Realizes the planned output of all deliverables of volume production and conforms plan
  • Ensures the availability and usefulness of means of production in cooperation with production engineering
  • Ensures the level of know how and trains team members to realize all plans
  • Acquires applicable information on new products and new production methods and means of production to support the production of new products and prepares to get them to release for volume
  • Organizes all supporting processes in order to realize the deliverables in time and to ensure a fast ramp up for volume and customer support
  • Ensures the quality of output of volume production, full spec products, effective production processes, and training
  • Ensures infrastructure to assure effective and efficient volume production tasks
  • Ensures the availability and proper use of effective production and qualification procedures and systems
  • Supports the cooperation in production by finding solutions and concepts providing input and feedback
  • Supports execution of all tasks and a good working environment
  • Ensures adequate staffing of the team
  • Supports a productive working atmosphere in order to ensure flexibility
  • Executes hiring, performance appraisals, instructs team members, plans tasks, and sets priorities
  • Ensures proper execution of HRM policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of production management experience a must
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Solid mechanical aptitude
  • Working knowledge of SAP is preferred
  • Lean manufacturing skills along with the proven ability to provide a positive attitude to learn and to teach and mentor the department to achieve daily production goals and objectives
