MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Description
The mechanical engineer will report to the ME manager and will be responsible
for precision mechanical design, thermomechanical FEA, and design package
release.
Responsibilities
-
Verification of mechanical designs.

Design new precision mechanics
for new product development.

Documentation release to Doc Control
for Manufacturing
-
Effective communications with
R&D and manufacturing departments.

MS (or BS) in mechanical engineering,
electro-mechanical engineering etc.
-
2+ years of design engineering
experience in Solidworks, AutoCad or similar;
-
Position is flexible depending
on experiences. New college graduates to senior level ME will also
be considered.

Quick learner and self starter
a must.

The ideal candidate has a lot
of experience in macroscopic optics mounts (lasers, telescopes, interferometers,
airborne optics, etc) and a solid background in both design (Solid
Works preferred) and analysis (Finite Element Modeling) of mechanical
and thermal behavior.
