Precision Manufacturing Engineer

The successful candidate will coordinate and be the key contact on various sub-assemblies, be the chairperson for assembly and test reviews, interact with SSGPO and customers quality departments and provide guidance to technicians on new and existing manufacturing processes. Write test procedures and update processes from ECO’s. Develop and refine in-house manufacturing process for new and existing designs based on design engineering inputs and direction. Interface with design engineers to transfer designs to manufacturing. Set up manufacturing test processes and validate manufacturing processes.

Helpful experience in the design & fabrication of machine tools process equipment for customized glass manufacturing operations and metrology.

Requires a BSME degree with a minimum of 7-10 years relevant manufacturing experience. Strong background in assembly processes and manufacturing flow required. Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking role required.
